Somebody in the group Thundercats Vintage & Modern is busy 3d printing custom Mandora and Lizzor figures to go with the LJN line. Here are some photos. As I understood they'll be sold with and without paint on them.

I think that 3D printing is eventually going to give us all the toys we want that were never made. I think the Mandora looks good, but my criticism would be that it's too good to fit in with the LJN figures, which by comparison are a bit less cartoon accurate and softer on the details. I think Wiley Cubs's customs strike the perfect balance of looking great, while actually being something that could have seen production back in the day.

Very unique designs Mandora and Lizzor have. Lizzor is one of the unproduced LJN ThunderCats toys. :)

Thank you, Booshman! Coming from a master customizer like yourself, it means a lot! :)
Many people don't realize that I actually took great efforts to make my 3D figures actually look like LJN figures. I could have very easily made them realistic with defined muscles etc. like the present day action figures. But it was important to me that they look like they were made by LJN and fit in with the rest of the line. I didn't simply take a female "buck" and build Mandora around it. Both of my Mandora and Willa were built differently to better suit their characters.

Your efforts are greatly appreciated! Those images are absolutely stunning. I find myself looking at them often and thinking of what could have (or might be) been.

Hadn't seen this pick before. The sculptor has done a really faithful recreation here.

No not as yet. Just read that they'll be done in the next 3 weeks.

Oh hell yea - Wilycub's figures are indeed the best I've ever seen. That Mandora does look too modern, and Wilycubs' version is the correct LJN representation.

Yes please! That would be awesome. We'll all be old and grey when 3D printing is cheap and finally have them delivered via Wilycub's "beam-delivery-service" :D
