Ma-Mutt Chain Variations?

To the best of my knowledge, I have always heard that there were two chain variations of the LJN Ma-Mutt. One with silver chain and one with black plastic chain. But over the years I have heard of there being a red chain and plastic silver chain variations as well.

Can anyone please shed some light on whether these latter two variations do exist or not. Some pics would be great too! Thanks:)

I can't say for sure but with the WWF figure by LJN junkyard dog came with three variant chains, red, silver , and black. I can see them using up all the old stock, monkian had the red chain when he was first released so I suppose it's plausible.
