Leaked TCats movie footage news story... :)

Hey gang,

I took an executive decision and wrote up a news story for our front page about the alleged leaked TCats CGI movie footage that Mumm-Ra has alerted us to here: http://www.thundercatslair.org/forums/showthread.php?t=5570 ... :)

I used very careful language and deliberately didn't use any shots from the sequence or link directly to the footage itself, but just to let you guys know that I'll be keeping an eye on the YouTube video the source article links to - it's getting some very negative reactions so chances are WB will pull it, and if so I'll take the news post down (since there's no point linking to something that no one can see). :)

I can't help wondering whether WB have leaked this on purpose (in the same way that Movieline got hold of concept images from the movie) to try and keep the ThunderCats brand being talked about, but obviously this is just speculation on my part. :)

If anytime when I'm offline you guys see this becoming a potential "hot potato" then please feel free to delete the news story in my absence - however, I felt we were too at risk of being "scooped" not to mention it at all, so after agonising I took an executive decision, LOL! :)

Take care... :)

Definitely front-page material, Chris :)

I think this is the real deal. Jerry told me they had test footage of a Lion-O and Slithe fight scene that they presented to the upper management, and from the look of the video, this is what he was talking about.

I emailed Jerry to see if I can get confirmation on it. Will let you guys know if I get a reply :)

Awesome, MannyF, thanks so much - LMK if Jerry comes back to you and if so what he says! :)

My own opinion is that this is absolutely legit, but like I say, I used careful language in the news story just so WB didn't take it out on us if they don't want it online, LOL! :D

Take care... :)
