Hi everyone,

Per Thunderianroyalguard's request and because sharing is fun, here are a couple pictures of my ThunderCats collection so far.

I have been collecting 80's toys since 1998 (if I am not including when I was a kid). My ThunderCats collection is one of my very favorites, if not my most favorite.
I also collect vintage Rainbow Brite, Strawberry Shortcake, 80's movie comics and merch, metal lunchboxes, Master's of the Universe, Care Bears,
Star Wars stuff (especially Ewoks), and some various other modern things like Funko Pops!.

They are nothing impressive, but I love them. For vintage toys, I try to get things that are like C8ish or better, all loose... because how else will else will I play with them?! (Also, expense. :p)

80's Figures:

Minimates (which I can't decide if I should open or not):

Also, an uncommon Thundercats item, that I am not sure counts as part of my collection, but it's awesome so I want to share it.
A custom dress, repurposed from one of the drapes that went with the Thundercats bedding set from the 80's.

That's an incredible collection, and your dress is pretty styling.

Nice collection and great lighting on the figures. Love how the colors pop! Also liking the thundercats dress, ever thought about selling on etsy? Thanks for the share and keep us posted!

:D More fun than a barrel of monkeys!

Awesome collection! Very nice pictures, figures are in great condition! And I think that dress counts and it looks beautiful on you!

I dont own any of those Mini-Mates sets yet, but I wouldnt open them; I think they display best as is..
Anyhoo, great stuff! Keep it up :D

Thanks everyone!

I am slowly working on adding more. I just bought a staff for Cheetara and a replacement weapon for Monkian, so those are on the way. Yay.

As for the dress, I'm glad it's a hit. I actually did not make it myself, Lord LionO. I found a girl that makes pop culture type dresses (on etsy!) and had it sewn up. I wish I could sew that well, I would totally make a dress from every awesome 80's cartoon and movie fabric that ever existed!

Thunderianroyalguard, that is what I was thinking too. I just keep seeing pictures of that Icon Heroes ThunderTank statue and how rad it looks with the minimates figures posed with it, and get tempted to open them up. ^.^

Great collection! You know I never really paid attention to the mini-mate sets but seeing them all together makes me want them all. Those little details like the wolfrat always get me with stuff like this. The dress is very cool, I was at a comic con this past weekend and there was a girl there that had clothes made from pop culture photo's and pictures. Mostly comic stuff, but there was 80's cartoon things too. She had dresses, shoes, earrings, all kinds of stuff. Wonder if she was the etsy seller...

Berserker, my minimates were a gift from a friend. I normally don't collect things that aren't vintage (except Funko Pops!), but they are awesome. Something about seeing a franchise in a drastically different format is really cool.

The booth at ComicCon sounds neat. Had I been there, I would have been shopping in it. :) The girl that did mine is in the UK though, so probs different. I live in Atlanta and we get some pretty good booths at DragonCon, but I think ComicCons have quite a bit more stuff.

Also, here are my newest additions courtesy of Craigslist and a vintage toy shop in my area.

That's certainly impressive.

Ya they are cool. It's out of my collecting zone too, I never really liked the Marvel mini-mates that much so these didn't catch my attention until now. I've had my eye on a lot of 3 sets on Ebay just haven't pulled the trigger, I just keep finding vintage stuff I need.

Oh yeah this girl was local, it was in Rhode Island. Surprisingly the con had about 4 total Thundercats toys....a few beat up lion-o's and a Hachiman. I was surprised and made it seem like vintage Cats are becoming harder to come by. It was all worth it in the end because Larry Kenny was there signing autographed pics of Lion-O and Bluegrass. He was a really cool guy. His booth was hidden by the legions of people trying to get the autograph of the kid that voices Finn on Adventure Time :D
