Just FYI: some of my fandom history coming back to haunt me

Just wanted to let you all know that a few new members - Lord Slithor (and to much lesser degree, just by association) and his fiance Lady Ocelli go way back with me and not in the best way. The main prob is him, and without getting into a bunch of past drama, let's just say he's one of my least favorite human beings...um, *ever*. He sent me an odd PM recently playing some kind of bull**** guessing game that I'm not sure what he expects out of it...but it is typical of him so his promises of having changed from it, I doubt. I'm in wait and see mode on that. As for the PM itself, I'm opting not to take the bait and will greet it with silence. Past history has taught me that's usually the best route with him.

At any rate, the point is just to let you all know here that IF he ever does need modding in the future, I shouldn't be the one to do it or be involved because he's just going to cry bias which will create more undue drama. I'm not getting into details either because I don't want to taint you guys against him, but at the same time, wanted to let you know why I'm asking to take a distance from him.

Hopefully he'll just keep it civil and this bridge won't ever have to be crossed :)

I don't exactly understand what is the problem with Lord Slithor but i totally respect your reasons to stay away. You sound like he has done something very bad against you.

Lord Slithor is a frequent visitor here and has some good opinions on the Thundercats though.

Thanks Lordore. He hasn't done anything wrong that I know of as far as conduct on the board itself yet, I'm just saying if he does it's probably for the best that someone else handle it given our personal history. I'm not the only person from the old fandom he's alienated, and I will say if he ends up having any problems with anyone from the newer fans my bet is it'll most likely be a female member.

If he does do anything wrong here that's not on a personally creepy level, it'll probably involve him losing his temper and posting something regrettable. Speaking of how he is as a fan, he can tend to get defensive about his opinions, moreso than most. So if it's not the first prob we can expect from him, it might be that. But I hope for the sake of less drama here he doesn't show that side of himself here...

At any rate, in the hopes of avoiding a huge drama bomb as I said I intend to avoid interacting with him.

Sounds like this guy has a tendency to be a bit of a creep, I'll keep an eye on him and I'm sure the other Mods will do the same! :)

It's possible he may mind his ways a bit more over here as, with no disrespect intended towards your forum or EOT, we give the impression of being a little more "strict" (for want of a better word) over here. Anyway, again, appreciate the heads-up, we'll keep an eye on him! :)

Thanks Chris. btw, is there any way to block PMs from a particular user? Just in case he keeps sending me unwanted messages, would be nice to know if I have that option :)
