Hello T-Cat fans.
ThunderCatsLair.org will be interviewing the creative team behind the new ThunderCats statues that had their Lion-O debut at this years Comic Con. To that end, and knowing that we have a fan base that is deeply interested and opinionated regarding anything ThunderCats we thought we should open up the interview questions to the forum members.
Post your questions in this thread and we'll include some of the best questions in the interview.
Cheers,
Grizz

1) What are some of the restrictions implemented by WB in order to have this license?
2) How many Thundercats statues will be released in 2010?
3) Are they all part of a formation set? If so can we expect a similar setup for the villains?
4) Did Hard Hero consider going the 1/6 scale route before finalizing on the current 1/8th scale? If so, what were the reasons to change it to 1/8th?

I understand they are cats and cats have hair, but if this is suppose to be cartoon accurate, why the short hair all over Lion-O and presumably the rest of the cats?

Chris here...
Will each statue be sculpted by a different sculptor, or will they all be sculpted by the same person to give them a uniform look? :)
Also, are you able to reveal any specific details of the artist who has sculpted these, such as who they are, and what else they've worked on for you and elsewhere in the industry? :)
Take care... :)

Will there be variant statues such as a red haired Lion-O and an Orange haired Lion-O like the toys?
About how much will the price point be for these statues?
Are there any limitations or restrictions that the Thundercats license prevents you from changing or interpretingly differently or do you have complete artistic freedom?

how long do you have the license for?
is there a rendering of all of the thundercats statues that will be combined together that we can see or is it an ongoing thing, always changing?
are there any other products related to thundercats being produced besides the statues and busts?

Yeah, its been some time now, and when will we get a sneak peek at the approved Cheetara :-/
The initial schedule for Lion-O is first quarter 2010, maybe sooner, depending on the edition size (strictly limited to preorders). After which, we plan to keep them coming on a regular schedule every month or two.
Whoa... 2010 is already looking out to be more expensive than I imagined :o.
