Heads up for those of us that grab all TC related swag. Hot Wheels (which is a Mattel company), just dropped an official Thunder Tank (original series):
(sorry about the image size)

I think it's in the big chains (walmart, target, etc) as well as the toy sites.

The "Hot Wheels" ThunderTank looks totally show-accurate.

What about the UK? I'm still looking for the Toy Story RC Car from the same line as the Thundertank.

I really want this and the Masters of the Universe Wind Raider.
I wonder if Mattel will be releasing more items under the ThunderCats Classic banner? I think we'd all love some Mutant vehicles too.

It is! I couldn't tell before getting it how they resolved the problem of tracks but my guess was hidden wheels and that's exactly what they did: clear wheels in the undercarriage. The arms are also (slightly) movable. Not bad at all! I'm keeping this one MIB and I'll eventually add another that I can take out and park next to the original Thundertank in my display space.

Not sure, but I saw it listed on Amazon, so you could try Amazon UK.

My guess is unlikely - but we can hope! This was released as part of a retro classics line, so that reads to me like they're only doing the iconic vehicles. HOWEVER! If TR takes off, maybe something will happen.

Not being familiar with Hot Wheels I also was wondering if these would show up in the UK at retail.

The only ones I've seen on Amazon (the RC To Go version not the Signature one) are about £40-50, although I can't find any at the moment, but I did see the signature Collection Pizza Planet Truck. There seem to be some cheaper ones on eBay, but like a lot of things on there, the delivery/customs charges are about four times as much, which puts me off buying them, but I never see them in any UK shops.

Got a Hotwheels ThunderTank from eBay the other day, should arrive pretty soon. Pretty stoked for this item, looks killer. Seems Mattel is still working on ThunderCats!

what I've learned from picking up hotwheels is that more often than not the 'specialists'' line models tend to become standard 'blue card' vehicles the following year.
Of course this doesn't 100% happen everytime it didn't with the ATeam Face corvette but it did with the Fintstones car and the Jetsons pod.

so if you missed it this year there's always a good chance it'll be re-released the following year on a blue card and cheaper.

Got mine in the mail last week. Very happy with it, looks awesome! My only complaint is that they didnt add the lasers and front wheels underneath the claws.

Forgot to share I got mine last month.
The premium Hot Wheels series is really cool.

Can potentially be great for playset scale too, depending. It's just nice to see them out there. I would love to see S7 get Ultimates in the stores. Seeing all of the MOTU everywhere makes me a bit jealous.
