HH Statue Updates

Here's some updates for you.
Bengali was shipped in time for X-Mas, but the product was selected for a check by customs. :sneaky: After landing, it was trucked to the Customs clearing warehouse (guess who's expense?). Moving ever so slowly :mad: Then came the X-Mas holiday break. More time :eek: Once it cleared the trucking company scheduled for pickup after the 25th. It seems they took a day off for the New Year, slowing us down again. So at this point we do know that the forwarder for Big Bad Toys has picked up Bengali. Guessing he will be delivered to their warehouse this week. :)

I'm thinking about taking the character logo off the shipping cartons and using abbreviations on the descriptions. This might deter any curious Thundercats fans as the statues move through the forwarding process. ;)

As of now Mumm-Ra has been delayed, but Tygra is at the factory in production. To Panthro and Slithe sculpts are in progress to be followed by Jaga.

We realize that some collectors would love to have a statue every month or two. But with required approvals, factory and shipping delays this is not going to happen. With the economy as it is presently, it would not be best to over burden the collectors financially.

Sorry to hear about the customs check Rob. But many, many thanks for the update.

Does the delay in Mumm-Ra mean that Ben-Gali was able to catch up and pass him in production/shipping/release? Or is the delay on the scale of a major setback resulting in Tygra getting released before Mumm-Ra as well?

Thank you Rob for shedding light and clearing things up. Most of us here are very content with your Thundercats line and this is why we wanted to know what's going on. So thanks for setting the record straight.

From my point of view, taking into account the bad financial condition in my country right now it works fine the release schedule of one statue per 3-4 months. I perfectly understand and does credit to you saying "

However i was wondering about the years of contract with WB. If Bengali is released this week, which i am very glad and hope there is no further delay:), and given that your first statue Lion-o came out early January of 2010 then it makes a percentage of 3 statues/ year. Are you planning on sticking to this timetable in the future? And if that's so, is the possibility of the whole line, but for the main Cats, not being produced looming large?
