HH Ben-Gali - Great News

Following Rob's post yesterday: http://www.thundercatslair.org/forums/showthread.php?t=4670, I received an E-mail from Big Bad Toy Store overnight.

For those who pre-ordered the Artist Proof version, they sent out an E-mail informing us that if we are wanting a specific # to match our other ThunderCats AP statues to let them know because they anticipate Ben-Gali arriving in their warehouse soon.

I had previously E-mailed them to ask for specific numbers. I don't know if this was just a generic E-mail to all AP pre-orders, or if the person I E-mailed before forgot to put my request on a list. But I did re-request my numbers, just to be safe.

I corroborate it as well:thumbsup:. i received the exact same e-mail today by BBTS.

they took the money a few days ago but still nothing has shipped?

Not yet for me. However, if I remember their pre-order policy correctly, this is normal. If I remember correctly, once the item arrives, they will bill customers' accounts and then a few days later (probably to be sure all payments cleared) they will ship the item out.

My guess is that they do it this way to either be fair to everyone, or so they can make just one mass shippment.

Got UPS notification. Should be shipping today!

For the life of me, I can't find a way to get Ben Gali to match up with Lion-O or Cheetara...

Maybe Ben Gali will match up with Lynx-O and Pumyra only (assuming they get made).

That is a sweet statue. Too bad If I start collecting these I won't have enough for the vintage toys ;(
