(EDITOR'S NOTE: A version of this review also appears at thundercatslair.org)
A version?? The ****ing piece was written by one of our team! They should have stated that the review was by Chris Davis of ThunderCatsLair.org. They have basically past this review off as their own work in my opinion with how they have worded it! :(
To prove my point about the perception of it, this is what the official ThunderCats facebook page said:
Critics and fans are roaring about last Friday's premiere of the all new ThunderCats! Check out what MTVGeek has to say, and don't miss an all new episode, Friday at 8:30/7:30c on Cartoon Network!
Chris, if I were you I'd be massively ****ed off at them!

Chris here...
I wasn't overjoyed, and I was also a bit hacked off that they actually edited the review without asking me first - some of the edits were actually good ones, but the thing that got up my nose was they changed my reference to the Lizards to Reptillians - which is wrong, because in the new show they're not called Reptillians!
But, I didn't query it with them, because at the end of the day if MTV Geek are linking back to our site, they're going to get a lot more hits than we do and thus send a lot of traffic our way! ;)
So I left it, but what I might do is, if they ask me to do it again, ask them if I could have a by-line! :)
Take care... :)

It's your call. I personally don't think the extra traffic is worth sacrificing your credit (since we jumped through hoops to get that done so fast) :(
Besides we are at the top of the page on Google so I'm not sure any traffic they send would be that significant. If I had read the review on MTV, I wouldn't bother visiting ThunderCatsLair for it as well.
Suffice to say I won't be sharing any of my work with them after this.

Chris here...
I might have a quiet word with Tom - I'm not thrilled either, but at the same time feel that having MTV Geek linking to us is a good advert for our site. So yeah, I'll feel my way through it, but do understand (and to a large extent agree) with what you're saying! :)
Take care... :)

Please don't feel pressured into anything from me! :( This was your deal and you have to play it out in a way your most comfortable with :)
It just upset me that you wrote such a fantastic piece and your not getting the credit you deserve.

Chris here...
I spoke to Tom, and he's agreed that, for all future reviews of ours that he reproduces, he'll put at the top "Originally posted at ThunderCatsLair.org". He told me that he rushed the last piece out as he was hungover and spotted that ThunderCats was trending on Twitter, LOL! :D
He has said that he doesn't want to change the wording for the Facebook links as he wants to keep them short and simple - but that when folks click the link it will state plainly that the review originated from this site. So I've given him the thumbs up on that as a compromise! :)
He's planning to feature my review for this week's episode too - unfortunately I'm out at a gig and so possibly won't be able to watch on livestream! :( Will you guys be recording the livestream again this week? I must admit it would be good for this site to keep on top of pumping out the reviews each week - LMK what you think? :)
Oh yes, and he's also told me that if I send a link to our Official Talkback Thread for that week's episode, he'll stick a link to that in MTV Geek's article too - I think he thinks he's upset me and that my reviews are rather too good to lose (said Chris, being immodest)! ;)
Take care... :)
