Hard Hero AP Statues availability

I could really use some help here guys and i'd appreciate it if you could provide me with any information, actually i'd also like to ask Rob Potts himself.


I'm interested in buying primarily the limited AP statues, but as you already know HH offer its Thundercats products directly to US and lately in UK. So far, i've purchased my two AP Lion-o signed by sculptor from Big Bad Toystore,their overall service is exemplary and i had no problem whatsoever. In Cheetara's case, they have available only the regular version, i e-mailed them back in April and asked for the AP statue but unfortunately they wouldn't be carrying the AP version because their supplier needed to solicit the item first,so i pre-ordered the regular, Bengali on the other hand is up in both. Mumm-ra is in regular too.
I've searched through the internet for sites offering the AP but with no luck. Do you have any idea where can i procure them? At e-bay and most of the online shops sell only the regular.

It's a personal matter but i just wanted to share it with you guys, actually I am pretty excited about it!

After persistently trying to find the Artist Proof Thundercats statues by Hard Hero, finally Big Bad Toystore responded positively to my -prayers:D-sorry i meant many e-mails and they will offer the AP as well. Their service provided is exemplary and customer friendly, personal thanks to the President Joel Boblit for showing concern on my account.

It might sound as a trivial issue but if you live outside US, trust me, it's not so easy to procure things:cool:!

Now i can build up my Thundercats collection entirely on the APs:thumbsup:, i know there isn't any substantial difference with the regulars but i am Paul Bennette's fan and these are once in a lifetime purchases!!

Congrats man. I can only imagine the nightmares in trying to get a top of the line collectible set (AP vs regular) in a location that cannot buy directly from the source.

Any idea if the APs will be matching, or close numbers? I know with Bengali you'll have a 50/50 chance of that even being possible since it is only 50 APs for him.

I've found Hard Hero quite nice to work with, and my one dealing with BBTS has been pleasant as well. Dealing with good people makes all the difference in the world.

I had tried repeatedly to purchase directly the Statues by Hard Hero's official site but unfortunately they told me shipping in Greece and Europe, except UK, won't be available. So i make my Thundercats purchases from BBTS,an affiliate store, the service provided is top-notch and a real pleasure to do business with.

Back in January when Lion-o was to be released, BBTS had only the regular up for pre-order and after contacting them, asking if it would be possible to offer the AP as well, they replied positively and that's how i managed to acquire my two AP Lion-os!!

But it isn't so simple as it sounds... The shipping is almost half the product's price, you have to contact the sellers to clear out any details since it's a very long distance dispatch, as you understand there is always the risk of your item getting lost, damaged or delayed and overcharged while getting out Customs...the list can go on..
It's quite of an Odyssey to come home!

Yeah, sounds really complex with plenty of areas where problems and costs can pop up.

Yes, I have been requesting matching numbers. So far Hard Hero and BBTS have been really nice about working that out. I know it doesn't make that much of a difference, but still nice to have matching numbers if possible.

I remember Lord LionO's case with the problematic AP Lion-os a couple of months ago, my point is there aren't any differences at all between the AP and Regular apart the sculptor's signature below the base. Someone would expect some sort of a better "treatment " with the limited AP such as flawless paint appliance, or an exclusive,e.t.c
