So now that the line is moving and seeing some momentum, I have been thinking about what I want to see going forward. This is long-term, and just me thinking about stuff I am wondering about or would like to see. Feel free to chime in! The more opinions the better!
For 2020:
I see them giving us more of the Thundercats (Lynx-O, Cheetara, Bengali, Kit & Kat, Jaga), but no all of them. Same with the Mutants. I suspect some wildcard characters to be thrown in here and there, so I can see maybe a Lunatak or Thundercat Ally, but I doubt any obscure characters show up.
2021 and beyond:
If the line can be sustained, I expect they will start to dive in to giving us a lot of the characters we have seen on the show. There are so many to choose from, I think it could be interesting.
What about a Thundertank? I think for them to do it right, it needs to be pretty massive and hold 2 figures in the driver seat and have space for several in the back.

With the 35th anniversary of ThunderCats this year, I think Super7 will pull out every stop available with their ThunderCats Ultimates line. Personally I'd like to see Willa and Nayda, Claudus (the old and young versions), and Dr. Dometone in a future wave.

I want it all too. The Lunataks have been my biggest toy want since childhood! I definitely want to see more of the female characters from the show like Mandora (preferably with her bike), Warrior Maidens, Mumm-rana, etc. I'm all in as long as they don't start putting out weird variants (ghost Jaga, young Lion-o and Mumm-ra disguises are the exception of course)!

I think I remember reading somewhere that they had 7 waves planned so far. Not sure if thats accurate or not but if so I'd be extremely happy if they played out something like the below which covers most of the vintage LJN figures and Mandora then anything after that would be gravy.
Wave 5
Vultureman
Bengali
Mandora
Mongor
Wave 6
Ratar-O
Snarf and Berbil
Driller
Tuska Warrior
Wave 7
Hammerhand
Hachiman
Captain Shiner
Safari Joe

Solid choices, I'd be surprised if we didn't see most of them.

Did you know all four of them used to be in a boy band? They worked the bar scene for a while one of PlunDarr's moons. Eventually they split when Hachiman went solo back in his own dimension. By that point everyone was fed up about how poorly Captain Cracker handled their management anyway so they went their separate ways. Vultureman and Ratar-O moved on to other creative endeavours, Safari Joe released a solo album of cover songs entitled, "Safari Joe does it again!".

You should put that on the Thundercats wiki for the characters. When the people writing the bios for Super7 come across it on the wiki they might actually include it. ;)

Here are my personal wishes. Yes, Brian confirmed waves 5-7 are already in the can and he is busy planning the 2022 figures.
These are my choices based on what I think could mean longevity and constant interest in the line. Also, I think each wave should include at least one ThunderCat and big bad.
WAVE 5
Bengali with Snarfer
Vultureman
Red Eye
Mandora
You’ll see there are many unmade LJN still left like Mongor, the Stinger, the Berserkers etc. I think each wave of 4 or 5 can complete such a team. I used the Lunataks as an example this time round. The waves can be any other way around. But this can easily see us through 2 more years.

I have heard Brian from super 7 they have 7 waves of thunsercats figures already worked out. I have also heard Brian say they want to go deep into the figure line if sales permit.
Right now the first 4 waves cover a span of 2 years, and I was wondering if anyone knew if this is covid-19 related or if something else is causing such a large gap between wave releases?
I recall 4 releases a year for MOTUC, any thoughts or first hand knowledge? I would love it if the waves were released every quarter.

No doubt COVID has slowed them down in some regards, it has happened to everything really.

Correct. They planned 4 for 2020 but only got 3 out. Brian said that next year we will only get wave 5-7, so it will now be a wave every 4 months not 3. C19 delayed everything but it is probably better this way so now we can save up for a Thundertank!
