Hi gang,

I spotted a post from Adam Bagshaw, who posts on our forums as Catamountain, that Neil censored relating to episode trading of the new series. I agree with your call on this, Neil, as it could get our site into trouble (moreso than the classic series)!

With the new series coming up, I'd like to propose posting a "sticky" thread in the 2011 Cartoon forum talking about episode trading and why we're not able to allow discussion of it on the main forum. :)

Should we allow our forum members to link to any uploads of the episodes on YouTube? My own instinct is that we probably shouldn't allow this, because again technically it's copyright infringement and I think WB will be watching forums like ours much more closely in relation to the new stuff than the classic series. However, I am open to alternative POV's on this one! :)

Let me know your thoughts, guys. Many thanks! :)

Take care... :)

A lot of forums that I lurk on have a 'don't ask, don't tell' policy when it comes to sharing. Publically, no, we shouldn't allow YouTube full episodes. Clips should be fine, but full episodes would get us into hot water. Not that either Cartoon Network or Warner Bros. would care, but just to keep them sweet..

Just tell people to keep that stuff to PM's.
