Whatever happened to this? I think we should bring it back so folks can chat in real time during events like SDCC/Toyfair and especially after the premiere episode! :)

There has to be an addon to the forums for a chat room. I'll look into it

Bought the addon for a integrated flashchat...Ill upload onto FTP. Can one of you Chris or Neil add it onto the forums. Im not sure how to do it and dont want to mess anything up

Neil might be the best man for this job as he has a lot more vBulletin experience than I do, but failing that I can certainly take a look and see if it makes any sense to me - is the chatroom Flash-based? :)

From what i understand it is flash based...the lisence was affordable and had good reviews. Im attempting to add it to the forums with the tutorial i found so we'll see how that works. Seems rather easy to do. I actually tried to install it once but i got an error so we'll see how the 2nd time works.
The chat addon is FlashChat

That sounds great MannyC, and yeah, that sounds like a Flash-based addon - my own knowledge of Flash is pretty limited as IMO its future as a platform for new web applications is limited, but you'll find old Flash stuff will be supported by browsers for a good few years yet! :)
I have installed a Flash file on a website once (and only once), but if you encounter any problems or errors on the second install, LMK what they are and I'll see if I can figure out what's happening! :)

Under the default red and white template the chat add on has been added and is ready for use. I will add it to the other templates
