This is fantastic, MannyC, what an amazing thing to see! :)

I must confess looking at Quickjaws in operation, I can begin to see why it never got past the prototype stage, as IMO it looks as though rough child's play could cause it to break, it looks a lot less robust than the other Berserker figures that made it into production... :(

Can't wait to see this video getting added to the Prototype page - we're in a league of our own here, gang! :thumbsup:

that is pretty neat, and I completely see why it wasnt made. It reminds me of a ghostbusters toy that was similar with the mouth (for the life of me I can't think of which one though)

No problem MannyC, leave it with me and I'll get it added - if you want it actually embedded into the page then the easiest way to do that is via a YouTube upload, but if all you want is, say, a thumbnail that links someone to a pop-up of the video, then that's a relatively easy thing to incorporate. LMK what you're after and I'll get on it! :)

I like the idea of a thumbnail that links to a pop-up.

Neil: Wayne (LiarDice) now owns the working Red Eye and Quickjaws prototypes. Im in the process of getting a video of Red Eye as well

Please do not send the link to other people, the video does not and will not appear on YouTube searches because it is set to private. Basically the link will only be available to those I send it to

No problem about the link, they will hopefully be up soon on the respective pages anyway. I'd suggest adding a watermark to the videos, so if someone does take them and post them elsewhere it will advertise this site!

But I've gotta admit I find that LiarDice character exasperating in the fact he is pleading for donations to a supposed film, yet can afford to splash out on these prototypes! Equally annoying is the way these have been sold. I was interested in Red Eye and to me it seems Jordan has taken the first offer that came along.... I wish everyone would get a chance at these!!

Well just got a PM from Jordan wondering where the news on Red Eye came from. Wayne pretty much led me to believe he owns it too and hell who knows he may not even own Quickjaws, perhaps it was a video forwarded to him :confused:

Hey Neil, I'm pretty confident that my crappy video editing software (Windows Movie Maker) won't let me do this for a video with an .mp4 extension, think it only works with .avi or .wmv. :( Any chance you could have a go at doing it with the video software you have? :)

Yeah, he's not somebody I find particularly endearing, although on the plus side at least he's willing to let us display what he has - imagine if these had gone to Alex Bickmore! :(

That's my fault Manny. I sent Jordan a pm about the Mad Bubbler and any other prototypes. I basically said I didn't want to miss placing an offer on Mad Bubbler like I did with Red Eye (mentioning yourself as telling me about Red Eye)

Jordan replied asking where you got the info and I said "I think he was told by the guy who bought it"

Sounds like a lot of bull****ting is going on here from our friend Wayne ;)

hmmmm I'm pretty disappointed as well if Wayne does own them and they were bought backhandedly as Jordan did lead us to believe that they would be sold appropriately and not through a back alley deal. I'll try and find out if he does have them as I have had a couple trades with him in the past few months and have his email.

And more pictures keep coming from Wayne...Jordan led me to believe we would get these first before anyone did, he even asked me to not let anyone outside the team know about them.

Whatever...Im not holding my breath on Jordan sending me anything else since Ive contacted him alre4ady several times for pics and the pictures keep appearing from Wayne.

Anyways one of the pictures is of an alternate scultp of Mumm-ra...rather awesome and the Luna Tacker

Cool to see the Luna-Tacker, but the excitement (for me) is slightly marred in the fact that Jordan is sending pics to anyone but us. At the same time using us to sell these pieces!!! :sneaky: Not happy one bit.

I agree with you Neil...he's promised to send us pics but nothing so far. I dont know why he's sending pics to other people first before us but wahtever....as it stands we got most of the pictures anyways so we can add those to their respective pages

Got a reply from Wayne. He said
"I have only just heats from Jordan yesterday.
No dealings with them yet."

I have no idea what heats mean, but it sounds like he hasn't actually gotten ahold of anything that Jordan recently acquired. It does seem like he's talking to him about stuff though, as they worked out a few deals last year.
