Flaming forum thread on new TCats series - mods, be alert!

Hi gang,

The thread on the new ThunderCats series has turned into a hotbed thanks to two forum members being wankers: http://thundercatslair.org/forums/showthread.php?t=4030 .

To be fair to LioConvoy, I dislike both the tone and the attitude of Grune_the_Destroyer's posts - but, technically he hasn't breached any forum rules that I can see, whereas LioConvoy has by directly insulting him and calling him names.

I've actually given Convoy an infraction, I was very tempted to do the same for Grune because I agree he's a pompous ass, but couldn't find a rule that he'd directly breached! :(

Just thought I'd let you guys know that this is a hot thread and that I've got my eye on it, if you guys can all keep monitoring things there for the times when I'm offline, that would be good. Many thanks! :)

Yes I think I stepped in at the right time. Really I should have nuked every mention of Transformers in that thread.... but then whats said is said now. Might be worth doing some editing later on as more news comes out and the thread gets bigger.

Nothing worse than going through a large thread, with a chunk of posts totally off topic! :rolleyes:

I think that whole 'flaming' attitude is shameful, really - even though the debating is good, there's a certain nasty tone which both posters are exchanging. I'd warn Grune just for provoking that sort of behavior with the tone of his posts towards Lio - it seems a bit harsh just punishing Lio whilst he's being baited by Grune.
