What are your favorite episodes of the series? Here are my personal favorites:

"Berbils" - This is always the one I think of right off the top of my head. I can't think of any one particular reason, but I suppose to me it just feels like a very solid episode. Well paced with some good action and we're introduced to the Berbils. Panthro also gets some spotlight, which is a plus.

"Curse of Ratilla" - Ratar-O was a pretty good villain in this, which is why I think it's one of my favorites. It also reveals some more of the history of Third Earth and Jaga. I also like how this episode shows how much Lion-O has developed as a leader, he seems more confident in himself than in previous episodes.

"Legacy" - The first major turning point of the series. This episode has by far one of the best animated fights in the series, and it helped put focus on the theme of the animals uniting and overcoming racial tensions for the greater good.

"The Pit" - for introducing Pumyra and Lion-O sticking to his principles by not fighting her. I loved that scene, and I really liked Panthro's history with Dobo.

"Song of the Petalars" - Definitely one of the most emotional episodes in the series. It's hard not to feel something by the end. I like how the experience ends up helping Lion-O get out of his depression over the fall of Thundera and his father's death.

"The Forever Bag" - The main reason I like this episode is because it reminds me so much of an 80s adventure film for kids, especially Hook and The Goonies for some reason. I can't help but smile at seeing Kit and Kat doing stuff on their own.

Special mention goes to "Recipe for Disaster" for having one of my favorite fight scenes and the shout out to the original series opening. Also to "The Trials of Lion-O part 2" for cementing Lion-O's character development.

My favorite is the premiere, it started the story so good and gave the show so much potential. Same with all of the flashback-space episodes (can't remember the name of them right now).

Why? Well i liked the idea of the story they had from before they crashed and for Lion-O to unite every race so they could beat Mumm-Ra, sadly i would have to say the execution was not the best.

My favorite would be the pilot episodes Omens pt 1&2. The way those episodes set the tone for the series was just mind blowing. It felt like we were in for a heck of a roller coaster ride with the way the series pilot episodes kicked things off. Although i loved this series and still tuned in for the whole series episodes prior to cancellation, i never really felt those goosebumps i felt with the pilot episodes compared to the rest of the episodes of the series.

I don't know the names of the titles, but one episode with Lion-O meeting a micro-mini man who aged and died in 24 hours. The other episode was when Lion-O and co. were searching for the stones and came across friendly, yet forgetful elephants. The last episode I really loved was the episode where Lion-O had to fight this warrior for his sword. It was an enemy who battle creatures for their swords.

The reason why those episodes stood out to me was that each one of them was very simialr to episodes in the original TV show. I loved tghat Lion-O went on an adventure, meet locals on his journey, and while he wasn't greeted with open arms, became friends with them and helped them in danger.

That was great writing that stayed true to the original series. If the writing was consistently written like that, it would have ben more diffult for WB to discontinue the series prematurely.

Episodes I dislike were the ones that featured what seemed like endless flashbacks. So boring!

Oddly enough I think the episodes with flashbacks were some of my favorites. I guess there is a little something for everyone.
