I didn't want to post this in one of the public forums yet but...

Since it's folks here that ran the awards last year via facebook, some people have contacted me wondering about the 2010 awards. So I thought I'd ask here to see if there was still an interest in running it as you did last year.

I'm still willing to reprise the award graphics role if needed. If there is no time or interest in running the thing, I don't think I can take that on BUT there might be some folks at EOT who would take it over if that's the case.

Please let me know :) Thanks!

Chris here...

Hey Angie, I know Mark was the one from this team who was involved with the awards last year - I'm not sure if his current personal situation would allow him to devote that sort of time this year, although obviously he'd be the best person to comment on that! :)

For myself I must be honest and say I don't think I'd be able to take it on because I've kind-of got my hands full with stuff and wouldn't want to take it on and make a hash of it (*waits for somebody to say "That doesn't normally stop you!", LOL!*). Any other members of the team up for taking on a role in this? :)

Oh and BTW, Angie, I got your e-mail - will reply ASAP! :)

Take care... :)

Afraid I have too many ongoing projects as it is, to devote spare time to something else :( Maybe we could take in turns running them each year between the main sites? :)

I think it be best to ask on EOT, but it might be worth pm'ing Mark anyway for his take on it, since like Chris mentioned, he organised it last time :)

Oh definitely don't want to step on anyone's toes so I do agree anyone and everyone involved in last year should be contacted for their consent, but particularly the one who spearheaded it all.

Rotating the duties is a nice idea. If the baton does get passed to EOT I will suggest to them that they consider keeping the changes you guys brought to the awards last year. They were such improvements! And of course, everyone is always encouraged to participate!

Just keep me updated on the status.

And Chris, no worries. I know you're busy. Reply to the email when you can :D
