Driller variant???

I'm always in search of Tcats variants. Now i have come across a driller with pupils???!!!:eek: I can't find any info about it. Is there anyone who can tell me more about this variant?

In all the years I've been collecting I've never heard of a Driller variant. The only difference with the driller is the card. There's the driller on an American card and the driller on a Euro card.

Is the figure with the pupils still on the card or loose? Got any pics?

Hey mate, thanks for reply. I have a rainbow driller and a driller on euro card, and i had some loose examples, but neither of them have pupils. And i have never seen one before, that's why i was surprized with the one i've come across on ebay. It is not listed as a variant. check it out

I can't be sure, but... it looks like a trick of the light doesn't it? I've never seen pupils on the Driller and I don't believe that variant exists...

Yeah, thought about something with the light, but it seems to much a coincidence. Could be mispainted? I'm not going to bid, but i'm very curious :)

It does look like pupils were painted on him however I can also see where it could be something to do with the lighting. You could always ask the seller for a better pic.

If the pupils are indeed painted on, it would make it the very first Driller variant I've seen.

I've never come across a Driller variant before either, i do too think it has something to do with the lightning.

Auction ended. Couldn't resist to take my chance :rolleyes: but didn't win in the end. I hope the winner is a member of these boards and can tell us if this was indeed a driller with pupils.

If you look at the auction on an iPhone you can zoom in better than on a computer. It doesn't have pupils, although from a distance it looks like it does. The right eye has a darkened edge almost like mascara which could be the lighting/camera flash but the left eye is just normal red and definitely doesn't have a pupil painted. I've got 5 drillers and I don't think I've seen a variant yet other than minor paint differences.

I recently found what is a driller variant i csnt figure out how to upload a pic though, as i researched it i think there may be two variants in fact
