Does anyone besides me have a hard time drawing thundercats characters?

I'm currently in the process of drawing a piece with mumm-ra in his ever living form and I am having a MAJOR hard time doing it. Mostly due to that cape thing on his back. Does anybody here ever get frustrated drawing the characters from this show? If so what gives you the biggest problems?

I haven't drawn Thundercats in a long while, but Used to have difficulty drawing the insignia and Lion-O's sword from certain angles.
Sometimes you just have to draw things a certain way to make it work in your piece.
