Detailed New Series... Likely?

Because of the fate of the new series, is it likely to be ignored by the various toy/collectible makers? Or is there a chance we'd see, say Mezco, design toys or statues in better detail than what we're stuck with from Bandai?

I ask because I'm still a fan of the new designs and would like to see the same treatment the classic series gets as far as attention to detail is concerned... but I realize it's a matter of popularity and sales potential and all.


Who else would be interested?

I think it's extremely unlikely. The series is already getting forgotten online, even google started showing more results for the original series again.

I'm pretty sure that, sadly, the show will be hardly remembered and only as a little note in the ThunderCats legacy.

I agree with Dr_SLUMP.

Yeah, that's what I was afraid of. Oh well. It would have been nice to see alternate versions though.
