I'm looking to cherrypick some LS ThunderCats figures and was wondering how my fellow ThunderCats fans/collectors are collecting these. Since there are so much coming out and at an incredible rate, which ones are you looking to get? All of em? Just the chases? Just the neons? I wanna know! :)

I would get the regular releases. :)

I got the initial set of Glow In the Dark characters from SDCC because I am bad at waiting... Now I also have all of the regular versions, and any Neon/LJN versions that have come out. I also got the metallic Spirit of Jaga because he just looks awesome with the metallic paint! :) Come on Walgreen's Wave!!

Im getting them all, except for the gold, and C28's....lol. Have pretty much everything currently except for the Target, Think Geek, and Walgreens waves

At first I thought these figures were silly looking. Then I got my everything mumm-ra, we'll now I'm on the hunt for all of them. They are pretty cool figures. I really hope they release an extensive thundercats line of secondary figures.

I'm gonna go for 1 of each character, as long as they are in cartoon colours. I also love the idea of the LJN colours, but I'll save those for later. :)As I'm from the Netherlands, it's not very easy, or cheap, to get these figures. When buying loose figures online, the order usually gets slapped with import charges and you end up paying $30-$40 for a figure, which is silly :laugh Maybe I should bite the bullit and get a full box?

I would! I bought a case of the regular versions, and when I sold my doubles on eBay, I not only paid for the case, but even made some extra money! Of course... I also spent a ton on the chases... which will go down in price if I was patient... But when Thundercats are concerned, patience is out the window. ;)

Trying to chase down all the LS Panthros is how I discovered this site. I now am confident I have the ones released and I'm just praying there is never a C28 or Gold.

What's up with the "Crystal Editions"? They were SDCC exclusives, anyone have more info on edition numbers, rarity etc?

There were three sets, all lion-o and snarf, one clear, one blue and one orange. You can see them on this page:

While I have you here! I was looking through your staggering collection (impressive doesn't do it justice, really - I'm leaning toward comprehensive - I don't even know how) and I didn't see any of the sliding puzzles. I have a lion-o one if you're interested.
Also! If you have any extras of the crystal cats miniature figurines you're willing to part with, I'd be interested to discuss.

they were SDDC (Not SDCC) exclusives. Super Double Diamond Club. Was a paid subscription through TLS a few years ago. it was random which color you would get . Clear was the rarest. there was a specific number of each released but I cant remember the number. I have Blue and Orange. Still need the clear.

So can't talk about this in the loyal subjects group cos its frowned upon. But recently an auction from China popped up on the ole bay with a guy selling loose figures. And he happened to have 5 Gold Snarf available. Took a chance and figured why not. And it would appear that at one point all the Gold Lion-O's were meant to come with snarf.

is this a fact though??? I am always very suspicious of ordering anything that comes from China when it is that kind of stuff. I know they are always listed as may have minor defects or didnt meet approval or things like that. I am a huge fan and collector of tls Thundercats line and something just seems off about these to me. I have seen them listed on ebay too and just don't trust buying them.

Example of another one sold. I've never had an issue with getting figs from china but I totally get why people wouldn't want to.

I never understand that hate against things like this other then the possible theft of these from the factory. They are legit product, they just for whatever reason didnt meet QC standards. And when buying from ebay, there is no risk. and for like $8, I dont see how its a big game of chance...I mean its only $8

Exactly. Sometimes its a hell of a lot easier to get a fig that way then to drop $100+ on one. Its also how I now have a no gimmick plain Mumm-ra the everliving, and a no gimmick Spirit Jaga.

I got another one on the way too. Will you post his footstamp when he arrives?

It's not really hate on things like this its more about not trusting. Because I can get a pair of "authentic" Ray Ban sunglasses from China for $5. Thats what causes me to not trust it. Too many knock offs come from there which makes me not trust it.
