I was wondering how many of these are out there. I have one, I know our friend Starrcade89 has one and there is one on eBay, so that's three.

Anyone els here have one, or know of one in other collections?

I am not sure how many of them are out there. I have been VERY tempted to pick up one of the ones that have been out on Ebay for a while now, but I wasnt sure if it a legitimate Testshot. What are your thoughts on it? Do you think it is worth the price it is listed at?

Well, I think it is a legitimate Testshot. I dont have the regular Classic Tygra to compare it with, but if the regular Tygra is cast in the same blue color, this could be an unpainted Tygra. Are Tygra's head and hands painted or cast in tan and orange?

As for the price on eBay.. Up to you.. it's free shipping. I dont know if you'd get $75 for it if you would resell it any time soon. On the other hand, a lot of folks dont wont to buy from sellers in Hong Kong, that could explain the long listing these figures have enjoyed. If it were a US based seller, maybe they'd be long gone. I really like the figure and have no regrets at all about getting it.

Browsing I just learned that member wthompson also had one, has that one changed owner? If not that's 4

I will check my classic Tygra for the casting when I get a chance.

I would really like to pick up that one on EBay as I am a big fan of the Bandai line and testshots! $75 is a pretty tough pill for me to swallow at this point. I guess I just need to win the lottery :D

Edit:
So I took a look at my classic Tygra and it appears as though the head/hands are painted. I am not sure if these are Testshots or unpainted production figures than. Are there any markings/stamps on these?

Ah, thanks for checking! Well, there are the standard stamps on the bottom of the feet. These would be part of the mold. One thing that came to mind is that these figure are not painted while fully assembled. The parts are painted seperatly and then the figures are put together. So these probably are testshots or factory prototypes. Or some worker stole ALL the parts for multiple figures and putt them together at home :)

Did you get it recently off of eBay?

That makes sense. I would agree that these are more likely testshots as opposed to unpainted production figures.

Thanks for the heads up! Now to wrestle with whether to spend the money or not. Do you find it odd at all that he has so many of these?

No, I got it from eBay back in 2011!

Edit: Incorrect, it must have been ioffer.com
