Revamped post with revamped photos. Ok they still suck quality-wise but are up to date cos I've got some stuff since I took the old ones and I've rearranged everything onto my old darker shelves too.
The 8 inch Classic Lion-O Tygra are now in their own area on my general action figures shelves to seperate them from the 6 inch Classics/Vintage size class. I gave them Snarf cos the posable Snarf toy is much closer in scale to the 8 inch figures than 6 inch and I'm looking to get the smaller non-posable Snarf that came with vintage Lion-O to put with the 6 inch cast (who I've arranged like they are in the intro sequence). I've actually customised 8 inch Tygra's head slightly with orange and black paint cos I felt the white parts went up far too high and also used some orange paint on his nose to make it seem wider and stronger looking.
Jackalman and Vultureman are the unofficial figures that are more 'fearsome' and better articulated than the originals and have more weapons so I'm happy with those as I'm going for more of a 'cartoon accurate' sort of thing rather than LJN-collecting.
I'm selling off the Minis stuff I had (which is why they're not pictured) as I want to focus more on the 6 inch stuff.
That poster above my Sword of Omens is awesome the way the outline glows so clearly in the dark.

Nice collection there. I personally like those newer Lion-o & Tygra figures. I was never keen on the original toys as a kid. Had Lion-o & Mumm-ra. But they weren't as cool as the TF's and the 4 inch G.I.Joes.
But yeah, those newer Classic TCats have better form & function (knee articulation... for one). Wish they'd do more of them though.
Anyway, cool collection all around. Good luck on the repairs.

Thanks. I had plenty of Transformers (parents preferred to buy me those as they thought being able to change into things meant better value even if most of them were far less articulated in robot form than a ThunderCat or other similar action figures of the time). I used to buy ThunderCats and Transformers comics regularly from Marvel UK and got into GI Joe/Action Force from it being the back up strip in Transformers but while I had some of the figures I was never into the toyline that much. I tried again back when they did 25th Anniversary but I found their size, accessories and articulation just far too small and fiddly for me as a kid and adult and ended up selling them. I do still have a 25th Anniversary Flint but I have him as reference for a small military video game I was doing the pixel graphics for. ThunderCats was always my favorite cartoon and toyline but I only ever had Snowman and Mumm-Ra when I was a kid despite asking my folks for more every birthday and christmas so ended up playing with my friend's collection a lot. I would certainly like another company to do a new range of Classics since now Bandai's done after two false starts. Still doubt we'd get the vast range and variety of LJN's original line though.

Those photos were meant to be bigger but I had to use the Attach file feature on the forum cos my website (and the webspace I store my photos and stuff on it) died on Christmas Day and the guys in charge are still in process of shifting everything over to a better server. When it's sorted I'll have online access to all my stuff again and can store photos and other bits on there again (I don't trust image hosting sites after the crap I went through with Photobucket and ImageShack some time ago).

I been inactive for a while due to other priorities (and generally finding myself in better moods when I limit my exposure to the internet forums in general :P ).
Anyways I got a few more cheap figures so here's my completed main hero cast of ThunderCats (meaning the affordable ones... no way I can afford Jaga, Bengali, Lynx-O and Pumyra). Wilykit & 'Kat were 99p for the both of them. 'Kat had a lot of paint wear so I started to fix him up and then got a bit carried away and made him as cartoon accurate as my current painting 'skills' allow. Tygra was cheap too (some paintwear that I need fixing up but may do a great deal more to make him look more accurate too). He's holding a 3 balled bolo whip from a bootleg Classics 8 inch Tygra figure. I bought a Tesco Value A4 Laminator (only £9.50) so I could print out and laminate some nice backdrops from the show. The camera flash is obviously shining off the Cat's Lair here and the line down the middle is because it's two A4 pieces together. Not perfect but I felt it made a much nicer backdrop than the back of the bookcase (which is broken anyways)

Snarf snarf...
I been trying to find the non-posable smaller Snarf figure that came with some Lion-O figures for a while now. Sorta gave up and went and ordered the pencil holder Snarf to use in the meantime but as soon as I purchased it an auction for the other one appeared and I won that and they both arrived this morning (which is weird cos the pencil holder one shipped from the US). Is a Snarf day!
Anyways here's them with my larger Snarf figure.
I'm gonna fix up paint loss and improve the paintjob of the pencil holder Snarf. The largest one I've been using as the Snarf for the 8 inch Classics Lion-O and Tygra (though I suppose he could be used with 6 inch figures as Oswald or Eggbert, I alway felt his facial fur sculpted somewhat beardy on this figure made him look older). The middle-sized Snarf is my 6 inch figures Snarf and the little Snarf I just realised could be used as 6 inch figures Snarfer.
I'm still trying to win auctions for the cuddly toy Snarf in good condition too. I don't care what anyone says, I loves original Snarf.
Snarf snarf...

I really like your display choices! I had no idea the new lion-o looked so good when paired with the old figures! (Same for mumm-ra!)
