I've been talking with our friend Wilycub and we've been noticing the forums have been pretty quiet lately and also there hasn't been added much to the site's content. A lot of pages need updating or fixing which means a lot of work is needed to be done. Things are picking up for the ThunderCats brand, with the renewd FUNKO line, Loyal Subject etc. so I feel we need to keep up and try to stay on top of things. We havent had a team meeting in a few years (!) and as times change, maybe some people dont have the time anymore or just lost interest, which is fine, but in that case we'd like to know.
So I'd like to ask each team member to post in this thread and let us know who is still willing to actively participate in the TC.Org-team.
When we know who's in and who's out we can make new plans, see what needs to be done and assign tasks amongst the team.
I'll give it a week for team members to post here. After that I'm going to assume any holdouts are not interested and they will be removed from the team and we'll see if we can employ other members to take their place.
Thanks a bunch guys!

Thanks for posting this, Justin.
It could be that one of the reasons we've stalled out lately is precisely because we haven't been meeting or planning things together. I feel like our most fruitful time, a few years ago, came when Mark had us all in active communication with each other.
I'm happy to make time again, but—I'll be honest—I need to feel like the site is stable and in good hands, and that we have concrete plans and responsibilities. Mark's absence has cast doubt on all of that for me—consolidation of site adminstration under one hard-to-pin-down person has gradually eroded my confidence that we can really make this work.
Of course, it's not entirely fair for me to blame others for my own lack of writing—I've published an average of one review per year since 2014. But I'm here, willing and able, so if this thread means we're committing to a real joint effort to improve things, count me in. [emoji4]

That's great to hear, Zack! And thank you for your honesty, I completely understand how you feel. I too have been frustrated with the lack of direction and team-effort that has plagued us the last couple of years.
I've been in contact with Mark and the has told me:
"Thanks for reaching out to me, apologies that i've been so absent. Unfortunately my job demands are so high that i don't expect I'll be back in any meaningful way to help run the site but I can continue to deal with godaddy and maintain the URL / account etc."
So that's pretty clear. Until further notice I've taken it upon myelf to oversee the Team and Site. When we know who's left in the team, we'll see how we assign things. But until then, I'm happy to hear you're on board and I can assure you that I'm fully commited to making this operation work :)

I'm here. :) I visit the forums almost daily just to make sure everything is in order and there are no vandals making mischief.
Since I joined the team I have completed all the tasks that were assigned to me, mainly:
1. Writing episode reviews (50 episodes)
2. Designing various graphics, logos and text for the website itself
3. Creating TCats smileys/emojis for the forums (still planning to do more)
4. Adding more character illustrations to the "Encyclopedia Section" of the site. (have done 11 so far)
5. Creating TCats-themed illustrations for "greeting cards" on various holidays like Christmas, Easter, New Year
Right now I'm working on creating an "Interactive Games" page for the site which would feature various TCats-themed online puzzles and games that visitors can play.

Okay, so far the following people havent responded: Balgus82, spicemaster, Lordore and Vivek
I'm going to 'Start a Conversation' with them and give them a few days to respond. After that, the window's closed and we'll move forward as is.
EDIT: Apparently some team members dont have access to the "Team Discussion" so I moved it to 'Moderating and Contributions Discussion'

Thanks for calling this meeting Justin.
I became a Mod in mid 2015 after the Mattel toy license got announced and I began discussions with Mark about the forum structure for Mattel.
Since then till late 2016 I would continue to visit and post on the forum on a regular basis, but only did few moderating tasks whenever they came to my attention. I haven't done any contributions to the site itself as I am not part of the site staff.
Towards the end of 2016 with the cancellation of the Mattel line, I like most fans was bummed out and then visited the forum sparingly. Around the same time I had to move to a new location for work and eventually reduced my overall online activity including social media presence. I haven't participated much on the forum for almost a year now.
Anyways, so personally at this point I don't think I can bring anything of value to the team, hence I think it would be best if I revert back to being a regular member and continue to visit the site/forum whenever I can.
I just want to mention that whenever the team gets back to posting regular site updates, I hope they are being reflected on the TC.org FB and Twitter pages simultaneously, either automatically through the site or get them posted manually on social media, including a customized post on Instagram.

Thanks for your responce, Vivek. It good to hear your thoughts and to know where you stand. I´d like to thank you for your work as a Mod and hope you´ll continue to be an active member of our community.
As for our Social Media, unfortunatly those have been slightly neglected the past years, especially Twitter. But I´ve gained access to those accounts and am actively working to get those back on track :)

The only concrete thing I was really given to do was drawings for the 2011 section for the encyclopedia. TBH I haven't drawn much of anything, TC or not, in quite a while. Been busy with work and other things.
I still check the site a couple times a week, but I can't promise to update with any drawings within any specific time frame.
Thank you for bringing that to our attention, Balgus. There was some problem with the nesting of the page. I have fixed it and the link is working now. Please let me know if you encounter problems with any other page.

I see new members registering all the time. The latest member to join (Ancient spirits of evil) just joined 4 days ago. Who told you that new accounts cannot be created?

I checked and you are right. The captcha does not appear when registering. So I did a little bit of searching around the web and found out that a LOT of people using the Xenforo Software to host their forums are experiencing the same problem. Apparently there is some glitch that has developed in the old captcha system and the only solution to that is either update the entire software or simply disable captcha for registration.
So I've disabled the captcha for registration. Now new members can register without any problems. :)
