I'm really looking forward to seeing more custom "ThunderCats" figures from you, Booshman.

So cool! Congrats!

Its amazing what changes can make. If the original had looked like this we wouldn't have needed Mattel to get the licence.

I enjoyed seeing Wilycub's version of Mattel's first Lion-O prototype. :snarf

I think it looks better than the V2 version of the sculpt.

I certainly hope there'll be a third prototype. :jackalman

So Booshman, since we won't be getting a continuation of the Mattel line, would you consider creating customs to complete that line? Could Cheetara be made from an Adora figure? With perhaps of the head sculpt of Battleground Teela?

I've seen the Adora fig used before. Not sure about that other head sculpt. Whatever parts are used it would take a load of resculping to get them to look good. This would then either need to replicated over and over to make multiple figures, or molds would have to be used to produce duplicates. Whichever it is, there would be a hell of a lot of work involved.

If nothing is done in the long run with the TC line I'll be going down the custom route. Your work has always been amazing! So I will be in touch :D

This is the figure that was made from an Adora figure. The body looks a bit odd? Especially her lower half. The eyes are also not so great.

#91
Yeah, that's the thing with customs, you either have to resculpt most of it, or it looks like the base figure cosplaying as the figure you're making.

These are bloody awesome MOTUC buck customs of Monkian and Vultureman!
#93
I've seen them before. Very impressive, whoever made them did a great job.

New LJN style figure WIP. Captain Shiner base figure, with Panthro arms other than the gloves. Scatch sculpted head. All the sculpting is done, ready for priming.

Awesome!! This guy is one of Captain Shiner's crew, right?

Yeah, generic Vertus crewman.

It'll be good to see a crewman accompany the Captain. :) Maybe some day you could give Turmagar a shot as well?

He's always a possibility down the line,
I'm currently just working with what I have with me. I have a bag of beaten up figures that I brought with me from the UK that I'm using for customs. This figure came about through having a full Cpt Shiner body after using the head on another figure. I'm down to slim pickings with what remains of the figures I've chopped up.

I'm down to these bits and 4 Lion-O's. It's amazing how many Lion-O's you end up with buying job lots from eBay.

That Vertus crewman custom is coming along well.
