Berserkers vs Lunatacs!

Hi, I thought it might be fun to see what people think but I assume I know the answer. Would you have preferred that LJN made the berserkers or Lunatacs for their villain release series. We all know red eye was
Coming later and I thought he looked great. I would have much preferred the lunatacs personally but see why machine pirates may sell better with kids.
What do you think?
Also, as a follow up - if LJN could only have afforded to make 3 lunatacs who would you want.

Mine would be Red-Eye, Alluro, and provably Chilla.

I would've loved for LJN to make a 2-pack set of Luna and Amok as well as Tug-Mug.

I liked the Lunatacs, but I preferred the Berserkers. Techno Viking pirates appeal more to me.
But some Lunatac figures would have been great, especially Chilla and Tug Mug.

For me without a doubt the Lunatacs. If limited to three I would say Alluro, Tug-mug and Red-eye.

I think I would have preferred the "Berserkers" mainly because of the interesting "Battle-Matic" Actions they had/could have. I don't think Alluro, Chilla, Luna and Amok could have had any such action, apart from the standard "Arm Lever action".

Unless maybe there was a special action in which if you press a button on Amok it would cause Luna to be launched off his back and in the air (like the James Bond ejector seat!) LOL! :D

You're right. I wonder if this factored into LJN's decision-making at all. Tug-Mug could have had some sort of spring loaded jumping action, and maybe Red-Eye could have fired those discs from his chest. But the ones you mentioned would be much harder to make "battle-matic". I suppose Chilla could have had a Kobra Khan style spritzer built into her head...

I'm a fan of both factions, but obviously by my user name I'm going with the Lunatacs all the way. They just deserve it more in my eyes. The Berserkers were in what, 6 episodes? 7 if you count Spitting Image. Meanwhile the Lunatacs were in close to 40 and got shafted. However that doesn't upset me nearly as much as 1 hit wonders like Mongor getting a figure.

As for the 3 Lunatacs I'd most like to see. Alluro, Chilla, and Tug-Mug.

I actually believe that Red-Eye and Tug-Mug could have been awesome toys! Alluro and Chilla would have been a challenge to do domething extra special with, but there were a number of figures with only the battle action. It might have been neat for Alluros club to glow or shine and Chillas mouth could spray as zax said. Of course I like wilycubs idea of an Amok "Luna Launcher" haha!

I think that Red Eye looked to be a cool figure, but the Lunataks themselves I really don't care for. I think the Berzerkers are better (less annoying) characters, but I would have referred 4 other figures been made in their place.

I voted 'Berserkers' but I would rather have both Berserkers AND Lunatacs..
I think LJN did a pretty good job on the Berserkers, though I would have prefered them without action features and those bulky sculpts. Hammerhand's features is fine, but the other ones I could do without if it meant they would be less cluncky and more cartoon accurate.

As for the Lunatacs, the LJN Red Eye is AWEFUL! The sculpt is okay, but the colours? Man, I cant even imagine what they would have done with Alluro and the others..

You might be waiting for a long time. The Lunataks are pretty much the bottom of my would-do list. Red-Eye is my favourite of them, well he's best of a bad bunch.
