Ok what episode was this based on?
I'm guessing this is the only way Tygra gets molded in the new factory, so maybe they'll make a ver. 2 of the Wave 2 version in the near future?
I wonder if it comes with the fixed elbow pad now :biggrin
*Edit: just found out it was based on Episode 57 "Out of Sight" where when Tygra wrapped his whip around him he turns invisible. I just wish S7 made a Willa companion figure with this.

The render looks great. But will wait to see it before I purchase. I’m surprised they are tackling first a new Tygra (new build right?) over Ghost Jaga.

Super7 has two Thundercat's Ultimate's reveals one for August which seems to ne this BBTS Exclusive Invisible Tygra and one Item slated or October.

I placed my Pre-Order for this at BBTS. It looks really cool.

So they don't have the tooling for Tygra or they do? They're competely retooling him for an exclusive but can't offer a replacement arm? Hard to keep up with rich tapestry of excuses.
And before anyone whines about a negative post I reserve the right to be excited about another Tygra until I have what I paid for in hand, a complete figure with acceptable QC. So far I have the original that arrived with terrible paint apps and a replacement that took 3 months, worse paint apps and no head.
I've never had a customer service experience like dealing with this company.

So they're still using Ben-Gali-style hair for Tygra, I see. :(

Neat! I hope he looks as crystal as the renders which may be hard to do though. I think I'll probably pass again. Not big on variants, but I still think conceptually this is awesome.

Agreed. I have to say that their renders for Wave 5 were pretty close to the the final figure. But yes, getting clear plastic to behave/look a particular way will be a bit more difficult.

I purchsed my wave two set from BBTS and my tygra's body had paint QC issues. I sent pictures and BBTS sent me out a brand new tygra at no cost to me and they didn't want the other one back. The New Tygra they sent me was perrfect.
All the tooling molds from Wave two belong to Super7 and when they took their business away from Mattel's factory Super7 took the molds with them. This is how they can produce the Invisible Tygra the mold for that figure will be used by a factory super7 is doing business with to make it in clear plastic with some white Painted highlights.

That's great news, for you, unfortunately Super 7's support compared to BBTS leaves much to be desiired.

In the first 4 minutes of this interview Brian states they cannot make a replacement arm for Tygra as they would have to go back to the problematic factory and ask them to do it. So which is it? Super 7's new factory has the tooling making the statement in the video completely false, or they retooled this Tygra from scratch? I'm inclined to agree with you, it makes no sense to remake the same tooling so soon, they are using the original from the old factory. Why lie about the replacement arm then. Why say you can't, just say you won't. Repeatedly saying things that are untrue or designed to mislead, particularly when it's all documented online, is a difficult game to play. You have to really be able to keep track of the lies you tell to not end up with egg on your face inthe long run.

This is a cool looking figure - I'm happy for the folks who wanted him, but am going to pass as I don't need variants. Good exclusive for BBTS though!

I think at the time of that interview Matte's factory might have still had the molds, but I think in the most recent Fwoosh interview about wave 6 Brian said they took their molds from wave two away from Mattel's factory. This would explain how Wave 6 can be done since they are using the wave 2 Mumm-Ra body with newly tooled heads

@Booshman Tygra might be a completely new mould as the Mirror/Red, SDCC, LJN Lion-O figures are all new moulds.

Very convenient for them that it kept them from offering a replacement part for free but now allows them to sell a whole new figure.
