Thanks. I tracked down the ip and edited my post with it in it but looks like I forgot to save it.
Hey guys i was just wondering what is this new 'technique' the spammers have now developed:
'Victorinanserw
Guest
Posts: n/a'
i tried to ban him permanently but his IP doesn't show since he is a Guest and Posts:n/a. I haven't seen this again. Still, this guy managed to post on a thread.
Also, today i received a Spam PM for porn sites.

But jeobinconcano cannot be found in user search to ban the account and/or IP. So guests are allowed to PM and post?

Something similar probably happened to me because i couldn't find this spammer and i was amazed by the freedom a Guest has to post malevolent content:mad: so easily

Maybe we need to stop new members (under 5 posts) having pm privelages? ;)

I changed the options when I first noticed the PM so now new members can only post to other people's threads and upon having 5 posts they will be "promoted"
