...working a little overtime. The last three new users that have been just fine, active on the boards (tv-brat, bringbackthe80s, and codeofthundera) have had their first several posts flagged by the software for no reason I can see. I've been approving their posts quite regularly. But What I find really amusing is I came across one of Lordore's posts that got flagged by the software as spam and approved it too. It blocked a mod! lol!
My point is, I know it's easy for me to just get in block and delete mode, so just take a second glance at a post before banning :)

LOL. I do check posts before I delete them. But I will start double-checking them. Lets hope this new feature doesn't flag too many legit posts.

I'm pretty sure the spam blocker is now blocking the first several posts of all new members no matter what. Several more newbies I've been following around over the weekend approving their posts so they don't wonder where the heck they are. idk I guess the extra vigilance is nice as I've cleared out a LOT of nasty porn posts I'm so glad the average person cannot see thanks to the spam blocker, I'd advise the other mods to maybe check the flagged posts more often to find posts that need approving too, so they don't have to wait too long to be seen. I'm going back to work today, so I won't be able to check periodically during the day.
Seems like after I approve their first 5 or 6 posts, the software gets the idea and stops flagging them :)
