I was wondering if the classic Sword of Omens made by Rubie's a few years ago is worth buying...
I haven't found much information or pictures of it. Does anyone here own it?

If you can get it shipped for under $10 I would say buy it. I have one and its decent, but obviously cheap as it was made for a Halloween and not a real toy or collectible. totally not worth $20. but if its cheap, I would get it.
* I see you're in Belgium, in that case It would be worth it to spend a bit more since shipping would cost more. but imo, don't think it would be worth more than $30 shipped to Belgium.
I'll keep my eyes peeled for when a cheap one pops up on ebay or somesuch :)
Actually, is it longer than the old LJN sword? Which one you like best?

yes the Rubies one is much bigger. its also hollow plastic. seems a bit brittle unlike the softer plastic of the vintage one. I will always like the vintage one because its the original one. but I like to collect roleplay weapons and items. so I like them both.

Check out Thunder-Props' version of the Rubie's Sword of Omens:
I can't really add to this conversation, other than i have it, it is awesome & is displayed in my living room
The light up, full metal replica is on display in the bedroom...
The original 80s toy version still eludes me.
