I am not sure what a "get" is, but I doubt it is a good thing. Since I am not sure what level of name calling it is, I only posted to ask people to avoid name calling and other things that may cause flame wars.

Get out of here you miserable get, Lol... Every thread your hating on it.. Lol...:p

I dont understand why your hating these when they are still very close to the originals, and then liking that other trash clip, lol.. Are you saying you dont even like the original line?

I think they are superb ...

I think it's in the same sorta saying as 'miserable git'

It's not really a derogatary term as myself and friends often use it.....I once said I couldn't be bothered to go out on the **** and my pal said "Come on out you miserable git"

That said we need to be careful that threads do not turn into name calling. If someone doesn't like something it's their perogative. Afterall, you can easily ignore a post if you don't agree with it.

Chris here...

I think Neil's right, and I also think in the original poster's case it was meant in a "jokey" way - however, I think you're right to flag this up and think your post on the subject in the thread in question was spot on!

Take care... :)

I have never heard it used in a form for me to really know what it is. I don't think it is used here in the US, or at least not in my area. I didn't want to edit the post for that reason. As long as it is a harmless name, I'd say it was a case of no-harm-no-fowl. But I still felt it would be wise to try to curb it before it got worse.

Yeah, its easy to ignore posts for the most part. But there is something about someone calling you a ____ that usually hits a nerve.

Yeah, and the internet isn't the best medium to get tone across, so something meant in a jokey way may not be perceived that way by someone else. Hopefully everything will be fine but things like that are certainly worth keeping tabs on. Thanks for the head's up :)
