Pretty sure it's fake. If a movie was in the works I think WB would be announcing it.

I don't know. I figured I'd share the story here and let everyone give their opinion about it. I would LOVE a thundercats movie but not one directed by michael bay.

I don't like Bay's movies. However I have heard that TMNT 2 is supposed to be quite good. A movie would be cool. Did you ever see the CG movie test footage from a few years ago?

No. I'm not really a TMNT fan. ^^;

No the Thundercats movie test footage.

no. but from what i saw in the screenshots it looked odd.

I agree. The designs etc were worse than the 2011 series.

The way Lion-O was written was really bad too.

I still think they should have made it. If anything it could have acted as an introduction to the characters for a new generation of fans and the 2011 cartoon could have expanded it.
As I have said WB haven't tried enough things with Thundercats. Look at all the different cartoons and movies of TMNT. If at first you don't succeed try again.

doesn't lego have a suspiciously thundercat looking cartoon series out, though?

Yeah Chima. I think that might be finished now. I recall Dan Norton and co insinuating that Chima was what caused Thundercats to get cancelled. Which was absolute nonsense. People not watching or buying the toys was their fault, not no other cartoon or toys.
