C&VG Magazine cover Painted by: Lee Sullivan From the collection of: Lee Sullivan Owner's website: www.leesullivan.co.uk Notes of Interest: This beautiful painting was created by UK artist Lee Sullivan (best known to ThunderCats fans as the cover artist for Issue #1 of the UK ThunderCats comic), for use as the front cover of a UK magazine published at roughly the same time as the comic - the magazine was titled "C&VG", which stood for "Computer and Video Games". The magazine incliuded a free ThunderCats game and contacted Lee to paint the magazine cover to highlight it. This is a gorgeous piece, and a rare example from the 1980s of ThunderCats comic-related artwork that was actually painted rather than just drawn. This image was sent to us by Lee himself, and he was kind enough to send us a very detailed scan - click on the image above to view a larger version!
