This piece was pencilled by legendary comics artist Jim Lee, arguably most famous for his work on Marvel Comics' X-Men series. Jim also pencilled the variant cover to DC/Wildstorm's ThunderCats Issue #2 , and as per that piece, note how reminiscent Jim's portrayal of Lion-O is to the X-Men character of Wolverine, even down to the expression and the thick sideburns!
