UK Annual 1987 The first hardcover ThunderCats Annual to be produced by Marvel Comics in the UK, and the only one to be co-produced with Grandreams.

This annual featured reprints of the US Marvel comics Issue #1 and Issue #2, as well as pin-ups / fact files and other info. This annual, published at the very end of 1986, was followed early in 1987 by Marvel UK’s weekly ThunderCats comic. UK Annual 1988 The second hardcover ThunderCats Annual to be produced by Marvel Comics in the UK, featuring reprints of the US Marvel comics Issue #3 and Issue #4 (themselves having previously been reprinted in the first four UK ThunderCats comics), as well as a two-part text story, pin-ups and other info. UK Annual 1989 The third hardcover ThunderCats Annual to be produced by Marvel Comics in the UK, featuring a whole-new two-part comic story, a two-part text story, a new adaptation of the cartoon episode “The Slaves of Castle Plun-Darr”, and other features and info. UK Annual 1990 The fourth hardcover ThunderCats Annual to be produced by Marvel Comics in the UK, featuring a reprint of the comic story from the US Marvel comic series Issue #9, along with a new comic story, two-part text story, fact files / pin-ups, and other features and info.

This was also the first of the UK Annuals to feature the “new” ThunderCats, Lynx-O, Bengali and Pumyra. UK Annual 1991 The fifth hardcover ThunderCats Annual to be produced by Marvel Comics in the UK. UK Annual 1992 The sixth and final hardcover ThunderCats Annual to be produced by Marvel Comics in the UK.
